When he was 21, he married his high school sweetheart, Anita Kay Lambert, the daughter of Sherwood Currie and Linda Hux Lambert, on December 21, 1991, in Monticello. He was a Journeyman Boilermaker since January 1992 and a Certified Pressure Welder. He was Journeyman Boilermaker at International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers. High and graduated from Lawrence County High School. In the summer of 1981, his family moved to Monticello (Sontag), where he attended McCullough Jr. He lived in Harvey, Louisiana, where he attended Homedale Elementary from the first to the fifth grade. He was the son of Alvery William “Duts” and Pat Bishop Holden. Pallbearers were Emmett Tolleson, Kyle Rodriguez, Mike Clark, Jason Lambert, Jeffery Bozeman, Mikell Robbins, Webster Bishop and Shane Smith.Ĭory was born Novemin Marrero, Louisiana.
Services were held Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church, with graveside services following in Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery. Stephen “Cory” Holden, 47, of Jayess, passed from this life December 13, 2017, at the University Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
